So this blog is more-or-less an opportunity to put out my thoughts regarding mobile apps and to brainstorm what to do with them in the medical and research arenas. It's to keep a conversation with myself going and logged. If anyone wants to join in the conversation, go ahead.
I work as an app developer at Vanderbilt in the realm of medical research technology. I think about these questions ALL THE TIME. This is not as much an opportunity to advance my career as it is an opportunity to advance the discussion - in my own head first and foremost, then in others' heads.
So generally there are two themes I want to consider:
1. What is an effective mobile app? How can developers design and implement the ideal mobile app?
2. How can the medical and research fields leverage this technology well?
Any random people, feel free to comment.
